With a ski holiday in Niederau skiers of all abilities can find pistes that suit their level, from the easy blues near to the village, to the challenging black runs down from the top.

Niederau- Ski

Niederau is located in the Wildschönau , in the Kitzbühel Alps. There are pistes for all levels of skiers, from beginners to experts, as can be seen on a piste map. The easy pistes are near the town, making the resort particularly good for beginners. With 43km of red slopes, the Wildschönau ski area is also very good for intermediate skiers, although most of these pistes are situated above Auffach, which is a short bus ride away. For experts, there are several black runs that descend to Niederau. These include the particularly challenging Hochberg and Stock runs. Niederau- Resort

Niederau is a lively village in the Wildschönau area of the Kitzbühel Alps, situated in a picturesque scenery.

Activities

There are three blue pistes open for skiing at night, two of which are above Oberau, and the other of which is in Niederau. It is also possible to go tobogganing at night once a week in Niederau and above Oberau twice a week. For the best toboggan run, only open during the daytime, head to the Schatzberg cable car, which is situated above Auffach. Here you will find a 4km toboggan run starting at the middle station and finishing down in the resort of Auffach, a short bus ride away from Niederau. There are also a number of cross country ski trails for those who want to go cross country skiing.

Children

Ski schools will take care of children from 2 years of age at a fun children’s ski area, and ski lessons can be taken by children from 3 years of age.
