Ski Holiday Extras
Many tour operators charge too much for the extras customers pay in resort, and they are not willing to pass on discounts to clients. Many customers are tailor making their own holidays now. We wanted to fill these missing gaps of service, particularly as with ski holidays everyone needs at least one of the extras we provide. So, whether you are an independent traveller who just needs to sort out the missing links, or someone who already has a package sorted, there’s something on SHE which will save you money. Some extras on our site we provide ourselves, and for others we use third parties. We only work with those who have proven to us they can match the high quality service we aim for all our customers to receive. And we’ll always be a phone call away to help resolve any problems or worries. How come you can sell me things cheaper?We manage to sell many extras cheaper than you could find elsewhere or in resort, because, to put it simply; we’re not greedy. We buy in bulk and therefore get good commissions with our third party suppliers. Instead of keeping this, we share it with our customers. Wherever possible, we provide the services ourselves, we have a fleet of minibuses and can also let people jump on the chartered coaches we have leaving Grenoble every Saturday. We have staff who are spread over many resorts, some are reps, some hosts. We pride ourselves on being flexible and offering services other operators simply cannot do, thanks to our centrally based alpine office in Chambery. For example, if a client wants their self catered chalet to become a catered chalet, then we’ll come along and make that happen if you’ve pre-booked our catering service. Why do we price in euros?By pricing in euros, this allows us to be as transparent as possible. You can then compare with the price you'd be paying in resort. Many sites who price in sterling will be adding on extra to cover themselves on the currency fluctuations, or even just as way of creeping their prices up. We pay our suppliers in euros. By selling in euros this of course helps protect us from sudden currency shifts but more importantly allows us to keep our prices low as our costs are fixed. We buy our products in large quantities, thus enabling us get you the best prices. We understand for our North American clients, that this may appear confusing to be pricing in euros rather than dollars at least. Currently we are not able to work around this but we do are best to keep the prices as low as we can still. Where are we present?In 2008, we spread our wings to sell into Austria, Italy, Andorra, Switzerland, Bulgaria & Canada. We have staff representing us in these countries who we use to help make the process as smooth as possible. Generally speaking, once your booking is confirmed you receive our SkiHolidayExtras email voucher and instructions, which you hand over in resort in return for the chosen products. We’ll be sure to have someone at hand to help speak Dutch, English, German, Spanish or Italian should you need help upgrading/changing items etc. Products: Lift passes, Ski Hire, Ski School, Transfers, Crèches, Child care, Husky sledding, Catering (Rent a chalet host), Horse riding in snow, Snow Mobiles, Quadding, Accomodation & more… If you think of any others we should include, do let us know! Credit cards – You can pay online using a credit card with no extra costs. SHE understand that clients like the protection a credit card offers and don’t feel it’s fair to pass this any charges on for this. If you don’t like paying online or find any part of our site confusing please call us and we can do it all on the phone. We have the network in place and the knowledge to ensure that you have the support you need at the prices others can’t match. We hope that you’ll try us out and want to use us again next season.
